This year is the 8th edition of "On the Road", which continues the group concept since "symbiosis" in terms of focus, but shifts from the social intervention of local groups to the virtual nature of group relationships in the post industrial context in terms of problem orientation. We have chosen the keyword "infinite mapping" to pay attention to the unique post industrial art community that has emerged in the context of globalization, commercialization, and informatization, with the development of society, technological progress, and more importantly, the openness of people's concepts since the beginning of the 21st century.

The "Art Education Exploration" series of exhibitions and educational activities is a public welfare activity jointly launched by Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum and Shenzhen Yuanping Special Education School, focusing on the healthy growth and art education of special children. It includes art healing courses, public education activities, and achievement reporting exhibitions. The art education work in special schools introduces professional support from art museums, providing comprehensive and multi-dimensional care from children's physiology, psychology, senses, and thinking, and ultimately implementing it in a series of tangible artistic activities.

On November 12, 2020, the "Walking Man - Wu Weishan between China and the World" exhibition, sponsored by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, organized by the Propaganda Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, and the Shenzhen Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and co organized by the Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum, opened at the Guan Shanyue Art Museum.

On October 9th, the "Two Beautiful Districts - Exhibition of Fine Arts Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Establishment of Guangdong Special Economic Zone" was held at the Guan Shanyue Art Museum in Shenzhen. The exhibition, with the theme of "Two Beautiful Districts" , is divided into three major sections: pursuing dreams first, sailing forward, and colorful scrolls. A total of 198 works are exhibited. These works capture a magnificent panorama of the 40 years since the establishment of the Special Economic Zone, warmly praising the great achievements of the Special Economic Zone, vividly showcasing the beautiful prospects of building the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and Shenzhen as a leading demonstration zone for building socialism with Chinese characteristics. They are a collection of artistic masterpieces for the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Special Economic Zone.

In response to the instructions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on the revitalization of collections, our museum has planned this exhibition of exquisite oil paintings in our collection to present exciting oil paintings to the audience. The exhibition selected some high-quality oil paintings from the museum's collection, including representative and important oil painters from home and abroad, and comprehensively showcased the collection achievements and academic system of the Guan Shanyue Art Museum.

 The "Road - Lu Jia Works Exhibition" will comprehensively showcase his decades long creative landscape in Shenzhen, and it is also his first time holding a comprehensive solo exhibition at the official art museum in Shenzhen. The Guan Shanyue Art Museum not only showcases more than 70 of his ink and wash works created in the past 20 years, but also reviews his creations in the 1980s and 1990s. His works cover oil paintings, illustrations, designs, comics, etc., with both literary and artistic value, allowing the audience to understand the art ecology of the early stage of reform and opening up, as well as enter Lu Jia's inner world and artistic space.

 This exhibition is the fourth summary of the achievements of the Guan Shanyue Art Museum's creative institute after its first appearance in 2017. The participating artists are the backbone of Shenzhen's art creation, and their age spans across youth and middle age. They are not only the "front waves" and "rear waves" of the artist community, but also represent the "front waves" and "rear waves" of this great era. We can feel their differences, but we cannot accurately define their boundaries. They are both merging and changing, extending infinitely, Coexistence and symbiosis.

Zhuang Xilong, originally from Chaoyang, was a pioneer in Shenzhen's cultural industry born in Shanghai; He is a famous media person who has picked up junk, worked as a laborer, set up a street stall, and ultimately entered the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily through his own efforts; He is a prolific manga artist whose works were selected for the college entrance examination essay and won the first prize in Guangdong Province's Good News Manga for 10 consecutive times. He has created thousands of works. The Ukiyo-e Heart - Zhuang Xilong Donated Works Exhibition showcases 141 comic works donated by Zhuang Xilong.

The work of "Exploring Echoes - Huang Xishun's Donated Works Exhibition" celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the collection of works by local artists in Shenzhen is of great significance for deepening the research on the collection of works by local artists in Shenzhen at the Guan Shanyue Art Museum through the case study of Huang Xishun and a series of activities such as exhibitions, publicity, and publishing.

With the strong support of the Shenzhen Special Fund for the Development of Propaganda and Culture, the Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum continues to hold the "Cultural Heritage - Chinese Freehand Oil Painting School Art Exhibition" and has toured various places, gaining widespread recognition from all sectors of society and attention and support from the national government. What is even more gratifying is that oil painters actively respond and conscientiously create their own artistic masterpieces, which have gathered into a considerable landscape of "freehand oil painting", with a sense of public service and the convergence of various rivers. These works are intertwined with a full passion for artistic exploration and rich language forms to create a vibrant cultural vitality of the times, allowing people to anticipate the prospect of continuous improvement in Chinese oil painting.
