I can't remember which specific day, but Director Chen Xiangbo instructed us to coordinate the collection of Zhuang Xilong's comic works. As younger generations, we didn't have a deep understanding of Zhuang Xilong at that time. We only remember Director Chen telling us that he was a pioneer in the cultural industry of Shenzhen, who was the same age as New China, with ancestral roots in Chaoyang and was born in Shanghai; He is a famous media person who has picked up junk, worked as a laborer, set up a street stall, and ultimately entered the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily through his own efforts; He is a prolific manga artist whose works were selected for the college entrance examination essay and won the first prize in Guangdong Province's Good News Manga 10 times in a row. He has created thousands of works; I only vividly remember that Director Chen invited us to visit and told us that he was a very friendly and interesting person.

The visit and collection work went very smoothly, and Zhuang Xilong selflessly donated his remaining 141 comic works to the Guan Shanyue Art Museum. Contrary to the smooth progress of the collection, there have been some changes in the collection exhibition due to certain reasons. During this period, Zhuang Xilong showed incredible understanding. His understanding, and as we deepen our understanding, we gradually realize what qualities he and his works possess as a satirical cartoonist?

His character makes him rightfully aware of the negative aspects that have existed and still exist in China as it progresses. As a cartoonist, when portraying these negative phenomena, he is not only able to express his emotions, but also able to break free from personal feelings, making his feelings an objective object that can be measured. Therefore, he can further translate them into works that arouse the audience's indignation and reflection, making the audience unable to resist laughter mixed with a hint of helplessness and injustice. His works are like a mirror of society, reflecting the various states of the world and the hearts of all living beings. It reminds everyone to take this as a lesson, be cautious in words and actions, not only focus on oneself, but also consider the feelings of those around him.
