In order to align with the advanced operational philosophy of the International Art Museum and better provide high-quality public welfare cultural services to society, the Guan Shanyue Art Museum has launched a volunteer service project since May 2006. The aim is to develop and cultivate cultural volunteers who love art, are willing to serve the art museum, and serve the audience. They can participate in the specific work of the art museum, improve their own artistic cultivation, promote the healthy development of volunteer service in Shenzhen, promote the popularization of art and culture, and promote social morality while transmitting artistic knowledge to the audience.

The meaning of the name:
On September 15, 2007, cultural volunteers gathered at the Guan Shanyue Art Museum to participate in the cultural volunteer flag oath and the unveiling ceremony of the cultural volunteer Guan Shanyue Art Museum workstation. Under the witness of the leadership of the Cultural Bureau, an excellent and stable team of art museum cultural volunteers has been established, taking Comrade Cong Fei as an example, helping others, serving the people wholeheartedly without compensation, and contributing their own strength to the development of Shenzhen's cultural industry.

Activity time:
Regularly hold cultural volunteer art practice and exhibition guided training sessions, actively participate in providing guidance services to citizens, and assist in art museum affairs.

Activity purpose:
Cultural volunteers inject vitality into the development of art museums and the service of citizens with a good spiritual outlook and work performance, with the aim of "service first, audience first".
