The exhibition is organized by the Propaganda Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Shenzhen Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Shenzhen Federation of Literary and Art Circles. The Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum and the Shenzhen Hua · Art Museum will implement it specifically. This is the second time that Shenzhen has hosted a national art and design exhibition after being awarded the title of "City of Design" by UNESCO. This exhibition consists of four design categories: clothing, graphic design, environmental art, and industry. It showcases 468 re evaluated works, including 57 works from Shenzhen, fully demonstrating the super strength of Shenzhen's design talents. In addition, Shenzhen has 14 nominated works for awards, including 1 gold award, 2 silver awards, 1 bronze award, and 2 outstanding awards, demonstrating Shenzhen's strength as a "design capital".
The Guan Shanyue Art Museum showcases clothing and graphic works. The Hua Art Museum showcases works of environmental art and industrial design.
