This year is the 7th edition of "On the Road", and we have chosen the keyword "symbiosis" to organize the rise of Chinese Community Art in the past 20 years. Symbiosis in the biological world can be divided into various forms, such as symbiosis that benefits both parties, symbiosis that benefits more, symbiosis that harms more, and symbiosis that is unrelated. These diverse forms form an inseparable structural relationship between living organisms.

 Our museum has been dedicated to the collection and research of various fields such as Guan Shanyue art research, 20th century Chinese art, contemporary design art, and contemporary Chinese art. We have accumulated a number of precious art works and research results, accumulated cultural wealth for the country, and provided rich artistic resources for Shenzhen citizens to enjoy cultural rights. In 2019, in accordance with the requirements of the art collection system, our museum collected a total of 684 works, including 3 sets of works by Guan Shanyue, 12 sets of works by Zhao Shaoang, 4 sets of works by Lin Fengsu, 141 sets of works by Zhuang Xilong, and 392 sets of works by Huang Xishun.

This exhibition is themed around the collection of Guan Shanyue Flower and Bird Painting works, divided into four parts: "Lingnan aftertaste", "The plum blossoms of Guan welcome spring", "The New Appearance of the 'three cold-weather friends'", and "The literati's heart of the painter". A total of 35 works are exhibited, examining the art of Guan Shanyue Flower and Bird Painting in the context of 20th century transformation, revealing how new expressions of new era concepts and traditional meanings of flower and bird painting can achieve modern transformation, thereby highlighting the contemporary significance and connotation of Guan Shanyue Flower and Bird Painting art.

 On December 13-18, 2019, the Geng Ying Eighty Art Exhibition was held at the Guan Shanyue Art Museum in Shenzhen, China. This exhibition is not only a systematic summary of the decades of artistic practice of Ms. Geng Ying, a famous calligrapher and painter and founding president of the China Cultural Heritage Foundation, but also a review of her long-standing commitment to public welfare and charity work. It also showcases Ms. Geng Ying's continuous exploration of the path of art, arousing attention and expectations from all sectors of society.

The authors of this art exhibition are all from frontline grassroots art teachers who have been engaged in art education and creation for a long time, accumulating rich teaching and artistic experience. We hope that through this exhibition, while acknowledging the teaching dedication of teachers, it will also inspire them to persist in pursuing and improving, constantly exploring and innovating. At the same time, treating it as a sorting, exploration, and reflection of the "childlike" art education work is a sincere praise for the value pursuit of Futian art education.

The 2019 Key Academic Project of Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum, jointly organized by Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum and Tsinghua University School of Fine Arts, will be held at the Guan Shanyue Art Museum from November 23 to December 15, 2019.

Zhang Guilin was a pioneer in Chinese screen printing. As early as the beginning of the reform and opening up, he participated in the establishment of China's first silk screen printing studio, which not only trained professional students, but also trained a group of teaching and creative talents for silk screen printing for other universities and groups, making outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese silk screen printing art. This exhibition presents 107 printmaking works by Zhang Guilin, reviewing and summarizing his over 40 years of printmaking creation process.
