  • The "Collection of Li Xiaoke Printmaking Works Exhibition" jointly organized by Beijing Academy of Painting, Guanshan Yue Art Museum, and Li Keran Art Foundation will open on February 10, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Guanshan Yue Art Museum, showcasing over 100 Li Xiaoke printmaking works collected by Beijing Academy of Painting. After the opening, artist Li Xiaoke will hold a lecture with the same name in the VIP hall of the Guanshan Yue Art Museum to share his artistic journey with the audience.

Since the 1980s, Mr. Li Xiaoke has entered the Tibetan region more than 20 times to experience and collect style, taking tens of thousands of photos. In 2007, Mr. Li Xiaoke began exploring the re creation of works from these Tibetan areas, combining printmaking language with documentary photography to give new artistic expression to the original works. These works became another new artistic expression system beyond Mr. Li Xiaoke's "Ink Home" series. This exhibition showcases over a hundred carefully selected works by Mr. Li Xiaoke.
