This year, painters from the Beijing Painting Academy will go to Xizang to sketch. Ten days before I left, I had something to ask Xiao Ke, so I called Liu Ying. She said that my brother was waiting for everyone in Xizang. I said jokingly: "Liu Ying, you should be careful. My brother must have a lover in Xizang! Otherwise, why does he go to Xizang every year?" Liu Ying laughed after listening.

Indeed, Brother Xiaoke has been to Xizang for more than 20 times since the 1980s. His heart is in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, staying on the plateau, his feelings are lingering. In his eyes, the Qinghai Tibet Plateau is like a treasure trove that cannot be fully excavated; The Qinghai Tibet Plateau is like Xishi in the eyes of lovers, the more you look at it, the more you love it; Like a lover in a dream, covered in a veil to prevent people from seeing the whole picture, waiting for him to search. In Xiao Ke's opinion, every trip to Xizang is so expectant and exciting, which is a spiritual baptism, a soul shock, a worship, and a journey to purify the heart. He is like a believer kowtowing his long head step by step, with a devout heart for art, enduring the pain and hardships brought about by it, and yearning for the temple of art in his heart and making repeated journeys.

For more than 20 years, I only know that Xiao Ke has taken a lot of photos in Xizang, and that he has set up a collotype printing factory to copy Mr. Keran's works. But when I saw his batch of prints, I was stunned! The clever combination of photography and digital technology in printmaking art has amazed me! Xizang revealed in his works is as mysterious, desolate, quiet and sacred as I felt. What is important is that his bold handling techniques are not confined to form but emphasize more on painting. At this point, I finally understood the reason why Xiaoke has been persistently searching and exploring on the plateau for over twenty years. Now he has presented us with this rich harvest.

I like Xiaoke's personality, he has a wide range of hobbies, is focused on work, is good at thinking, is open-minded and optimistic, has many emotions and feelings, and treats people sincerely. He only looks at the strengths and weaknesses of others and is willing to absorb them, never satisfied with his own art. Facing nature, he puts his heart into understanding and expresses it with passion when creating. His mind is calm, his heart is clean without distractions, his mind is focused, and he creates with a pure heart. Therefore, he understands the true essence of art and also obtains spiritual sublimation. At this time, how precious it is!

Perhaps he felt that Xizang's mystery and depth could not be expressed with ink and wash, so he adopted new methods to create. It can be said that at this time, his profound understanding of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and a kind of release after long-term accumulation. The method of artistic expression is only a carrier and means, and emotional investment is the key to a work ultimately moving people. His works are infused with strong humanistic care and sincere feelings for embracing nature. It is precisely this intense expression of passionate emotions that brings us into his artistic world, experiencing his spiritual expression, and then more vividly experiencing the breathtaking and silent beauty of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau.

Xiaoke is never satisfied with himself, he is constantly exploring and practicing. He used Mr. Keran's "wisdom of the real" as his motto. I believe he will bring us more surprises and surprises!
