  •     The Shenzhen Public Service Advertising Competition, jointly organized by the Propaganda Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Municipal Civilization Office, the Municipal Market Supervision Administration, and the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Culture, Sports, and Tourism, organized by the Shenzhen Radio, Film and Television Group, and co organized by the Shenzhen Newspaper Group, is an important event in our city's implementation of the "cultural-based city" strategy and the creation of the "City of Design". As one of the important contents of the "Creative December", it has played an important role in promoting social harmony, stimulating cultural identity, and enhancing urban soft power, and has become an important cultural brand activity in our city.

        The fourth public service advertising competition held this year has further improved in terms of participation scope, product quality, and judge lineup compared to previous competitions. A total of 9116 graphic works (7438 sets), 210 film and television works, and 189 radio works were collected from more than 20 provinces and cities across the country, as well as 18 domestic universities and overseas design units and institutions, including Tsinghua University School of Fine Arts. The competition invited 10 well-known domestic and foreign experts and scholars, including Huang Bingpei, Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Designers Association, Hang Jian, Vice Dean of the School of Fine Arts at Tsinghua University, Ma Degang, Chairman of the Shanghai Graphic Designers Association, Xu Anhua, a famous Hong Kong film director, and Wen Jun, former Chairman of the Hong Kong Film Awards, to serve as judges. After initial and final evaluations, a total of 53 award-winning works were selected. As the judges have said, the entries in this competition are among the best in terms of content and presentation, not only adding brilliance to the "Creative December", but also fully demonstrating the influence and attractiveness of the "City of Design".

        Public service advertising is an important component of the creative industry, which is an effective carrier for spreading advanced culture, shaping noble spirits, and leading civilized trends. With the help of the public service advertising competition platform, more creative design talents can pay attention to and participate in our public service undertakings, further stimulate creative enthusiasm, and jointly push our city's public service advertising industry to new heights, providing strong spiritual power for building a "harmonious Shenzhen and beneficial Shenzhen".
