

- Notice for the 4th Shenzhen Public Service Advertising Competition

The Shenzhen Public Service Advertising Competition, jointly organized by the Propaganda Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, the Shenzhen Civilization Office, the Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration, and the Shenzhen Bureau of Culture, Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and specifically undertaken by Shenzhen Radio and Television Group, is an important component of Shenzhen's "Creative December". It has positive and far-reaching significance in fully promoting the Party's policies, promoting traditional Chinese virtues, improving social morality, creating the "City of Design", promoting the construction of Shenzhen Cultural and Creative Center, and promoting the construction of urban humanistic spirit. After research, the relevant matters of the 4th Shenzhen Public Service Advertising Competition are hereby notified as follows.
1、 Theme of the competition
A harmonious society and a beautiful home
Theme scope: 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, 30th anniversary of the establishment of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, "Welcoming the Universiade, Promoting Civilization, and Creating a New Wind" civilized etiquette, clean governance construction, environmental protection, health and hygiene, social morality, integrity and law-abiding, etc.
2、 Competition Rules
(1) Classification of works
The entries are divided into three categories: print, film and television, and radio. The entries must be original works, with an elegant style, positive attitude, and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies. The title of the entries is determined by the contestants themselves, but must match the theme of the competition. Each entry must fill out a detailed entry form and commitment letter.
(2) Qualification for participation
All natural persons or social organizations who are interested in public welfare, possess a certain level of innovation awareness and literacy (registration forms can be downloaded from relevant websites).
(3) Specific requirements for submission of works
1. Requirements for selecting graphic works
a) The print works of this competition are all submitted online, without the need for printing, which is more environmentally friendly.
b) Online submission: Provide electronic files for output, stored in JPEG or TIF (or TIF compression) format, with a resolution of no less than 300dpi, in CMYK mode. Each submitted work file size should not exceed 4M. For multiple files, please use compressed file packaging (with the author's name and work name indicated in the file title) to submit via email.
c) Participants are required to fill out the registration form and electronic version of the competition commitment letter, which will be packaged and sent via email along with their works.
2. Selection requirements for film and television works
a) There are no restrictions on genres, including anime and other genres.
b) Film length standards: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds.
c) Equipment usage requirements: Both professional cameras and home digital cameras are acceptable.
d) The work must be submitted in electronic document format and meet the following requirements: provided in CD/DVD format; The pixel requirement is not less than 720 × 576PIX; Fill in the author's name and the title of the work on the panel.
e) Participants are required to fill out the registration form and commitment letter for the competition, and send them along with their works.
3. Requirements for selecting broadcasting works
a) Band length standard: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds.
b) The work shall be submitted in the form of a CD, and the name of the author and the name of the work shall be filled in on the CD.
c) Participants are required to fill out the registration form and commitment letter for the competition, and send them along with their works.
(4) Submission date
August 20, 2009 to November 10, 2009
(5) Selection methods and award settings
The competition is divided into two stages by the judging committee to evaluate the entries in groups, which are the initial shortlisted works and the final award-winning works.
The award settings are as follows:
1. Graphic Group Awards
First prize: 1 person with a prize of 20000 yuan
Three second prizes with a prize of 8000 yuan
Ten third prizes with a prize of 5000 yuan
Best Outdoor Communication Award: 1 winner with a prize of 5000 yuan
10 Outstanding Awards will be presented with certificates
2. Film and Television Group Awards
First prize: 1 person with a prize of 20000 yuan
Three second prizes with a prize of 8000 yuan
Five third prizes with a prize of 5000 yuan
5 outstanding awards will be presented with certificates
3. Broadcasting Group Awards
First prize: 1 person with a prize of 20000 yuan
Three second prizes with a prize of 8000 yuan
Five third prizes with a prize of 5000 yuan
5 outstanding awards will be presented with certificates

Special reminder: For award-winning public service advertising works with distinct themes, innovative designs, and suitable for outdoor publication, the organizing committee will not only award bonuses and certificates to the authors themselves, but also choose opportunities to widely publish their works in various outdoor media in the city through signature, in order to increase the awareness of the winners; At the same time, all winners can have the opportunity to have discussions with authoritative experts and scholars in the design industry, providing a higher platform for communication and learning for new designers.
2. Copyright ownership
The group or individual submitting the work shall not plagiarize or plagiarize the work of others. In case of legal disputes such as intellectual property or copyright, the participants shall bear the consequences, and the organizing committee of the competition shall cancel their participation qualification.
All entries must fill out a detailed entry form and a commitment letter (which can be downloaded from the competition website).
The organizing committee has the right to exhibition, release, and publish the entries for free. The organizing committee has the right to provide award-winning works for free to the national public welfare sector for use.
