  • Introduction to Tang Chunde's Art
  • Tang Chunde was born in 1962 in Hengyang, Hunan. He is a member of the Shenzhen Artists Association and the Hunan Artists Association. The current Director of the Creative Office of the China Ethnic Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Researcher of the China Ethnic Artists Association, Director of the Chinese Ink World Creative Department of the Song Qingling Foundation, Deputy Director of the Creative Office of the Beijing People's Painting Academy, and Deputy Dean of the Hou Baozhai Painting and Calligraphy Academy.

    He was influenced by his father's calligraphy, gold and stone from a young age, and learned to write inscriptions on stone tablets during the Han and Jin dynasties, as well as to imitate paintings during the Song and Yuan dynasties; And studied under famous painters such as Zhong Zengya, to develop a solid foundation in traditional Chinese painting. After the age of 30,  have traveled around the world for 8 years, visiting famous scenic spots all over the world. From the Sahara Desert to the banks of the Sera River, from the Angkor Monument to Dunhuang outside the Great Wall,  have left footprints. It can be said that  have searched for all the peaks and made sketches, and when he start writing, there are naturally hills and valleys. Especially during his three years of residency in France, he was deeply influenced by the Barbizon pastoral painting school. After returning to China, he once deeply studied the brushwork of Master Huang Binhong and gained its charm. He developed a vigorous, vigorous, and ancient landscape painting style, immersing himself in nature, both physically and mentally. The painting prefers famous mountains and rivers, idyllic landscapes, ancient blockhouses, Songfengliuquan, Tangtou slope foot, eaves arch of wooden architecture and other natural meanings, and has a sense of grandeur and joy.

    His main works include "The Great Wall", "Spring Banna", "Water Runs Miao Township", "Immortal Residence", "Spring Crys in the Valley", "Colorful Clouds in the South", "Deep Mountains But Listening to the Ripple of Water", "The Source of Dancing Water", "Cloud Mountain Picture", "Home under the 72 Peaks of Nanyue", "Spring Rain on the Li River Overcoming Jiangnan", etc; His published works include Tang Chunde's Landscape Painting Collection. In 2014, the "Hou Baozhai 2014 Series Exhibition - Poetry and Ink Mountains and Rivers· Tang Chunde Ink and Ink Fine Exhibition" and a personal auction were held.
