     Illustration design is standing out in the wave of industrialization, urbanization, marketization, globalization, and informatization. As a visual art form with a long history but never lacking innovation and keeping up with the times, illustration design is profoundly influencing the color and progress of culture, economy, society, and other aspects in an aesthetic way, constantly enriching its own forms of expression, expanding its aesthetic territory, and promoting its own transformation and growth. Because of this, we have found that more and more young illustration designers are passionately immersing themselves in this creative and dreamy art field. With the successful holding of the first National Illustration Art Exhibition in Shenzhen in 2007, illustration design was standardized, defined, and established, and quickly spread in China, presenting an unprecedented vitality. The Shenzhen Illustration Association, as the first officially established illustration professional organization in mainland China, undoubtedly leads the way and plays the role of pioneers and navigators. The Shenzhen Illustration Association is striving to inherit the excellent tradition of illustration design history, cultivate creative sprouts in the field of illustration design, and build a display platform for the illustration design industry, thereby promoting significant progress in the domestic illustration design industry.

     After two years, the second National Illustration Art Exhibition opened again in 2009, which is the highest standard exhibition in the field of illustration design in China and comprehensively and objectively reflects the latest level of the illustration industry in China.
