    Animation blockbusters - joint exhibition of works by Miao Xiaochun and Qiu Anxiong selected two avant-garde figures in contemporary new media art, namely Miao Xiaochun from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Qiu Anxiong from the School of Design at East China Normal University, and their representative works "Sitting in the Sky and Observing the Well" and "New Classic of Mountains and Seas II". Miao Xiaochun's "Sitting in the Sky and Observing the Well" utilizes digital technology from architectural design and Hollywood film stunts to transform his avatar into a coherent whole, and combines scattered and trivial impressions into a grand, smooth, and somewhat incomprehensible visual experience like a Hollywood blockbuster. He once again emphasizes the creativity of art with the spirit of contemporary people; Qiu Anxiong's "New Classic of Mountains and Seas II" is a copy of the ancient Chinese mythological book "Classic of Mountains and Seas", using the techniques of large-scale animation to trigger the transformation of the work, allowing viewers to naturally participate in the creation of new images, new experiences, and new thinking. This exhibition fully showcases the possibility of the perfect combination of art and science and the achievements of coordinated development from various aspects and perspectives, with distinct cultural and contemporary characteristics.
