The lecture, combined with the "Salute to Design - Lei Guiyuan Design Literature Exhibition", invited Professor Guo Qiuhui from the School of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, as the special curator of the exhibition. With the theme of "Global Perspective and Symbiotic Practice: Innovative Exploration of Chinese Modern Design", the lecture will use group cases to sort out the symbiotic practice of Chinese modern design from a global perspective. One hour before the lecture, Professor Guo Qiuhui also gave a tour of the "Salute to Design - Lei Guiyuan Design Literature Exhibition".
In the context of modern transformation, social change, globalization, locality, cultural inheritance, and technological innovation, this lecture discusses the multidimensional symbiotic relationship between tradition and modernity, East and West, nationality and universality, global perspective and locality through design practice and typical cases, and elucidates the "symbiotic" characteristics of modern Chinese design. The art museum has received warm praise and enthusiastic questioning from teachers, students, and audiences on site. The combination of exhibitions and lectures has made the museum a lively design teaching venue.
