China and South Korea share common cultural origins. Looking back at history, painting art has played a unique charm in the exchanges between the two countries, promoting cultural and spiritual communication. Entering the new century, we believe that Asian painting art is not only a wonderful part of world art, but also an indispensable page in the history of Asian art. Art exchange activities bring infinite vitality to the increasingly close regional cultural cooperation in Asia, and convey the practical significance of value recognition for cultural consensus in Asia. We have selected some oil paintings, watercolor paintings, and ink paintings created by Shenzhen painters to participate in this exchange exhibition. The participating painters are members of the Artists Association, professional painters, university professors, and art museum experts, representing the current pattern of diversified values coexisting in Shenzhen painting. Shenzhen is a young immigrant city, with painters from all over the country, reflecting the current development of Chinese painting art from a certain perspective. We hope that this event can bring practical and effective exchanges and explorations for the art development of the two cities, and our cooperation between the two cities will also bring infinite vitality to the flourishing art industry of both countries, and continue to write a new chapter in cultural exchanges between the two countries in the new era.
