Zhengzhou Art Museum (Zhengzhou Academy of Fine Arts), as a professional institution for art creation and research in Zhengzhou City, is a base for cultivating outstanding art creation talents and launching excellent art works. It is also a multi-functional art museum that integrates creative research, academic exchange, collection research, exhibition display, and teaching and training.

Henan is a famous historical and cultural province with profound traditional cultural heritage. The works of the painters from Zhengzhou Academy of Painting come from tradition and life, influenced by the culture of the Central Plains, blending ancient and modern Chinese and Western cultures, with different appearances. Through their works, we can deeply feel the magnificent charm of Central Plains culture.

In 2004, Shenzhen Guanshanyue Art Museum and Zhengzhou Art Museum collaborated to launch the "Spiritual Space - Chinese Youth Female Printmakers Nine Person Exhibition", which received a good response. This exhibition is the first successful practice of cultural cooperation between Shenzhen and Henan. Subsequently, the Shenzhen Guanshan Yue Art Museum and the Zhengzhou Art Museum reached a consensus to hold the "Zhengzhou Art Museum (Zhengzhou Art Academy) Art Exhibition" and "Mao Hongyan, Xu Xiongzhi, Wang Sanyou Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Exhibition" in the form of an invitation exhibition this year. We believe that in the days to come, Henan and Shenzhen will establish a deeper brotherly friendship and open up broader opportunities for cooperation.
