 The "Growing Up Together Art Exhibition" is a public welfare activity launched by the Guan Shanyue Art Museum and Shenzhen Annal Co., Ltd. based on the healthy growth and education of children. This year is the fifth edition. Throughout the years, the company has always adhered to the concept of public welfare activities and cooperated sincerely with the professional team of the Guan Shanyue Art Museum to plan a children's exhibition with different themes every year, accompanying children to celebrate June 1st and grow together, giving them unforgettable participation experiences. The influence of the "Growing Up Together Art Exhibition" continues to spread, and in 2015, the "Tongxing: Growing Up Together Art Exhibition" also won the honor of being awarded the annual National Key Art Museum Excellent Public Education Activity by the Ministry of Culture.

The theme of this exhibition, "DREAM+", is open. The exhibition aims to use four sections: "Building Dreams", "Friends Growing Up Together", "Fantasy Forest", and "Dream Sky", combined with the spatial works and workshops of contemporary young artists. Guided by these works, we aim to return to the natural realm of our dreams with children. At the same time, we also participated in the "2017 Annale Children's Creative Competition" with the theme of environmental protection and painting dreams, as well as eight social welfare organizations dedicated to children's growth and education that organized children to create works on environmental protection and companionship themes. These works also allowed us to intervene in current hot topics such as environmental protection and life care from the perspective of a child. Let's grow up together, so that children can deeply experience the care from all sectors of society.

1、 Exciting and diverse exhibition content.

As a public welfare children's exhibition and public education activity, care and companionship are the core content of "growing up together". Caring for children is not just about simple companionship, but should also be reflected in how to scientifically provide them with quality companionship. The ultimate goal of companionship is to enable children to establish a positive outlook on life and values surrounded by warmth. In order to make the activity content more closely related to children's appreciation habits and acceptance ability, the curation team carefully planned and displayed a variety of exciting content.

(1) Young artists construct a dreamy world for children. The curation team invited six young artists, Lu Zhengyuan, Tu Shaohui, Li Linlin, Li Na, Zhang Zengzeng, and Tan Yingjie, who are active in the contemporary art circle, to construct a dreamy world for the children. Lu Zhengyuan and Tan Yingjie collaborated on a mirror built castle, which is full of strange flowers and plants. Under the reflection of the mirror, the castle is colorful and dreamy, and children can shuttle through it as if they are in a kaleidoscope. Before Li Linlin's installation work "Blasphemy Praise", you seemed to fall into a rabbit hole like Alice, with 1000 plush rabbits of all sizes appearing in front of you. Children can touch and embrace each other, making you their intimate companion! In front of the collaboration between Li Na and Zhang Zengzeng on the voice controlled lighting device and brown silk weaving work "Fantasy Forest", children can shout and laugh to their heart's content. Laughter will make the lighting in the work unusual; Tu Shaohui's silk book comprehensive painting and videos such as "Five Star Joint Pearl" and "Analysis of the Wood's Jin" present the vast universe and mysterious starry sky, leading children into a deep, distant, and peaceful "DREAM" world

(2) The 2017 Annale Children's Creative Competition provides a platform for children to showcase themselves and record beautiful memories. Every child is a born artist, and every child has a magical world in their mind. The "Annale Children's Creative Competition" is to help children protect this simple and beautiful world. Since 2014, Annale has collaborated with the Guan Shanyue Art Museum to hold a "Growing Up Together" themed art exhibition, bringing children's creations into the realm of art. In 2017, 150 highly creative and childlike artworks were selected from the excellent works of the National Parent Child Creative Competition for exhibition. The works were created with themes such as "Interesting Dreams", "My Magic Planet", and "Favorite Little Cute Pets". Children inserted wings of imagination, used brushes to draw planets full of dreamy colors, recorded intimate animals accompanying them, and the simple elements of nature. Children showcase these ideas in their works, while we help them record them in their memories

(3) Eight invitation agencies organize children's creative support. The "DREAM+: Growing Up Together Art Exhibition" has not only gained more and more love from children, but also received support from more and more social institutions dedicated to children's education and social welfare, becoming a solid partner for us. Eight art education institutions, including Shenzhen Yuanping Special Education School, Shenzhen Caitian Kindergarten, Yangmeihong International Preparatory College, Linzi Art Education, Michi Scissor Cloth Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Panyu District Cultural Museum, Fuyong Primary School, and Yuanling Primary School in Shawan Town, Guangzhou Panyu District, organized children's creative works to participate in exhibitions. These works take various forms and express children's love and longing for nature, and intervene in current hot topics such as environmental protection and life care from a children's perspective.

2、 Rich and interesting public education interactive activities

In order to enrich the content of the activities and leave a deep impression on children, this exhibition has organized a series of public education interactive activities around the core content of the exhibition, expanding children's horizons while also interpreting the connotation of "growing up together" more profoundly.

Activity 1: "DREAM: Sweet" Sugar Flipping Art Workshop

Time: May 28th, 2:30 PM -4:30 PM

Only limited to 10 groups of households, each group is limited to one large and one small family.

The children who have successfully registered with the artist will work together to create a piece with the theme "DREAM" using Dried Pets. After completing the piece and taking photos as a souvenir, the children can take away their own creations (the flipping sugar material is edible cake flipping material imported from the UK).

Activity 2: "DREAM: Children's Makeup" DIY Activity for Small Fashion Designers

Time: The entire extension period

Children use everyday materials to design fashionable outfits for paper models.

Activity 3: "Adhere to dreams" Loong Boat Festival egg painting, Zongzi painting workshop

Time: May 30th, 10:00-12:00 AM; 14:30-16:30 PM

Tell the children about the origin of the Loong Boat Festival, and guide the children to finish egg painting and Zongzi painting with colored pens.

Activity 4: "DREAM: Colorful" Small Print Art Workshop

Time: June 1st, 14:30-16:30 PM

The activity is provided by the printmaking studio of Yuanling Primary School in Shenzhen. Under the guidance of professional printmaking teachers, a small printmaking work is made and printed.

Activity 5: "DREAM: Yunshang" Children's Clothing Design Experience Workshop

Time: 10:00-12:00 AM on June 3rd; 14:30-16:30 PM

The event is provided by Shenzhen Michi Scissor Cloth Culture Communication Co., Ltd. Children will experience clothing design under the guidance of professional fashion design mentors.

Activity 6: "DREAM: Body Painting" AR New Media Art Experience Workshop

Time: June 4th, 10:00-12:00 AM

The event is provided by Shenzhen Shenhua Technology Co., Ltd., and children can experience the charm of AR new media art under the guidance of digital technology personnel.

Reminder: Divided into four sessions, each session is limited to 5 people. Please go to the event management desk in the lobby first to make an appointment for the experience time, and proceed with the experience according to the appointment time.

The education and growth of children is a three-dimensional and rich thing. Relatively speaking, relying solely on the power of art museums is meager. It must form a joint force with society, family, school, etc. "Growing Up Together" is a public welfare activity launched by Guan Shanyue Art Museum and Shenzhen Annal Co., Ltd. based on the healthy growth and education of children. It provides comprehensive and multi-dimensional care from children's physiology to psychology, senses to thinking, and ultimately implements the "Growing Up Together Art Exhibition" as a tangible art activity. This year is already the fifth year of the "Growing Up Together Art Exhibition", and we are delighted to find that this event has truly become a platform connecting the public education function, public welfare, and society of art museums. The entire activity has not only been loved by more and more children, but also received support from more and more social institutions dedicated to children's education and social welfare, becoming a solid partner for us. What makes us even more delighted is that in these activities, children not only feel the strong love from all walks of life, but also learn how to care for others and constantly spread this love.
