Exhibition Name: "Scenery Around Us - The 11th Shenzhen Painters' Painting Shenzhen Exhibition"

The 11th Shenzhen Artists Painting Shenzhen Exhibition, titled "Chinese Dream · Scenery Around Us - Shenzhen Painters' Painting Exhibition", is jointly organized by the Shenzhen Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Shenzhen Artists Association, and Shenzhen Academy of Painting. Unlike previous editions, this time the organizers have fully mobilized members of the Shenzhen Artists Association and art enthusiasts in our city to study the spirit of President Xi Jinping's speeches at the cultural and artistic symposium, practice grassroots and down-to-earth culture, and go deep into various districts of the city to collect and create art, giving birth to a group of art masterpieces with the theme of "Chinese Dream · Scenery Around Us".      

"Shenzhen Painters Painting Shenzhen" is a local brand creation activity with the aim of "paying attention to and praising the local area". It has been held for eleven consecutive sessions and has achieved good social benefits. Its significance is not only to sort out and summarize the latest emerging boutique creations in this year's art activities, but also to increase support for new artists and works in Shenzhen. At the same time, it also encourages artists throughout the city to root themselves in the grassroots and engage in creative work, playing a positive role in promoting the development of the city's cultural and artistic industry and the cultivation of local art talents. In addition to publicly soliciting over 400 images of registered works throughout the city, this event also invited members of the Presidium of the Shenzhen Artists Association and various district art associations to participate in the exhibition of some sketching works that showcase Shenzhen themes organized this year. After the evaluation by the Presidium of the Shenzhen Artists Association, 200 works were selected and included in the album, and they were reported and exhibited to the general public during the creative December of 2015 in Shenzhen.    

Through their keen insight and various forms of expression, painters have depicted the grand blueprint of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone's history, culture, natural landscape, and development in the new era from an artistic perspective.

Examining the creations of participating artists, whether it is traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, or printmaking, from the magnificent and abundant fruits on the southern land to the urban construction of international cities, all flow and transform into colorful and enchanting artistic dreams under their pen. This is the "Shenzhen Dream", and it will also be the first to create the "Chinese Dream" in the near future.

As a permanent project funded by the Shenzhen Special Fund for Propaganda and Cultural Development, the Shenzhen Artists Association and Shenzhen Academy of Painting will further organize and plan activities, expand the promotion and publicity of exhibition activities, and make this brand project more resounding and academically influential. Through excellent art works, it will promote the Chinese spirit and gather Chinese strength, provide a continuous and strong spiritual power to achieve the great "Chinese Dream", promote the rapid development of socialist harmonious society, and build a "beautiful, prosperous, and harmonious new Shenzhen".     

The smooth progress of this exhibition is thanks to the Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum for providing us with a platform to showcase the beautiful paintings of Shenzhen; We also want to thank the city's painters for their valuable persistence in this creative activity, which has lasted for eleven years.     

Spring blossoms and autumn fruits, this batch of artistic works with commemorative significance and regional characteristics of Shenzhen, have been collected and published. It is in order.
