Taicang City, also known as Loudong, is a city with extremely rich cultural endowments. The Loudong School of Painting, which holds an important historical position in the history of Chinese painting, was born here. In the early Qing Dynasty, this painting school, as an authentic landscape painting school, was welcomed by the rulers and literati of that time, and its orthodox status lasted for 300 years without decline. In the past 30 years, research on the Loudong School of Painting and the Four Kings has become increasingly in-depth both domestically and internationally, and their influence has also grown. Taicang City has launched the "New Loudong School of Painting" landscape painting exhibition to be exhibited in Shenzhen, which fully promotes the cultural calling card of the "Loudong School of Painting" and promotes the great prosperity and development of Taicang's culture and art.        

The creative group of "New Loudong Painting School" currently has a considerable scale and strength. Zhu Qizhan and Song Wenzhi, two art masters born in Taicang, have a high reputation and influence in today's art world. Their artistic achievements are highly respected by people, and it is Taicang's pride to have them as the leading figures of the "New Loudong School of Painting". In this art exhibition, in addition to Mr. Zhu Qizhan and Mr. Song Wenzhi, there are also 15 other painters whose works are exhibited. Among them, Song Yulin, Zhang Peicheng, Zhang Peiji, Song Yuming, Ling Qing, and five others are all from Taicang. They currently reside in Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenzhen, and other regions, most of whom are accomplished and influential artists. The other ten currently live and work in Taicang, making them the backbone of Taicang's art creation. They all brought their own masterpieces this time, fully showcasing their creative achievements. They constantly try and explore, each with its own face and unique features! It fully demonstrates the spiritual style of painters who are close to the times, understand life, love nature, and pursue the unity of truth, goodness, and beauty. The works focus on painting effects and the interest of brushwork and ink, reflecting the pursuit of higher and more complete cultural character by calligraphers and painters, reflecting the profound historical heritage that Taicang painters have benefited from, and reflecting the extension and development of the "New Loudong Painting School" on the basis of traditional painting. It is not only a cultural heritage, but also a display of the culture of the times. Painters are diligent in research and practice, showcasing their unique cultural personality and taste. You can see the future of the New Loudong School of Painting in them. Cultural Taicang is carrying forward the indomitable spirit of Chinese culture that has been passed down for thousands of years, showcasing the life charm of landscape painting art!
