Starting from the late 1970s, Mr. Chen Xuesi, a journalist from the Guangdong branch of Xinhua News Agency, tracked and recorded the artistic activities of Guan Shanyue for 20 years. Mr. Chen Xuesi vividly captured the precious moments of Guan Shanyue's artistic creation, academic exchange, outdoor sketching, and daily life through his photographic lens.

　　Mr. Chen Xuesi's photography works are lively and have a strong sense of the times. Each photo records one historical fact after another, telling touching stories that resonate and evoke people's imagination. The photos taken cover a wide range, have a long time span, rich information content, and have typical significance. It is commendable that Mr. Chen Xuesi donated this batch of historical images to our museum free of charge, which opened up a reference and citation channel for aspiring individuals studying Guan Shan Yue art or related objects.

　　Audiences may be familiar with the works of the master Chinese painting master, Mr. Guan Shanyue. However, there are not many materials that reflect his creative process and cultural background. Our museum has selected 63 representative images from these images to showcase to the public, aiming to use comprehensive and vivid photographic images to let us understand Mr. Guan Shanyue's rich and colorful life experiences and artistic activities, and appreciate his unique creative taste and artistic style. Moreover, this year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Guan Shanyue. On the occasion of the Qingming Festival, we would like to express our most permanent remembrance and remembrance to the beloved Mr. Guan Shanyue through this exhibition!
