GDC is China's first large-scale comprehensive design competition annual exhibition event aimed at the world, held every two years. GDC, formerly known as Graphic Design in China, was founded by the Shenzhen Graphic Design Association in 1992. This design competition has become the most influential, high-level, authoritative, and fair design event in the Chinese speaking world.

　　GDC11 brings together the latest design achievements of top designers and emerging forces from around the world, encourages bold and innovative designs, showcases outstanding graphic design achievements, and recognizes outstanding design creativity and thinking.

　　The changes in GDC11 competition categories and award settings not only reflect the current development trend of the design industry, but also showcase the diversity, new methods, and new concepts of this industry. The GDC11 competition categories cover flat vision, RGB, spatial vision, and comprehensive categories; The jury composed of international design experts will directly conduct on-site identification and comparison of the submitted works, and award the award to the best design work. The evaluation results will more directly reflect the interactive relationship between current design, culture, business, and life, and establish new value standards for China's future design.

　　This year's GDC11 exhibition series includes: International Jury Lectures, International Jury Works Exhibition, and "Back to China" Theme Invitational Exhibition.

　　The specially launched GDC11 "Return to China" themed invitation exhibition aims to re understand tradition and China. Think about and frame the design values and aesthetic standards of the new era, explore cultural inclusiveness under globalization, export the aesthetic characteristics and essence of Chinese culture for five thousand years, and then achieve the goal of "emancipating design" from multiple angles and levels on the basis of sociology, ecology, etc., and highlight the idea of "symbiotic design" compatible with the times.
