On June 25, 1997, the Guan Shanyue Art Museum in Shenzhen was completed and opened. This was a major event in Shenzhen's cultural construction and a major gift to welcome Hong Kong's return to the motherland.

For the past 25 years, the Guan Shanyue Art Museum has focused on its academic positioning and development ideas, with research as the leader, collection as the foundation, and exhibition, education, and promotion as the means. Through rigorous academic research, the exhibition quality has been improved, and the service level has been continuously improved with the audience as the center. Efforts have been made to create a modern art museum with complete functions, clear positioning, aesthetic education, and fashion and leisure, allowing citizens to "create and share the beauty of art" in a high-quality cultural and leisure atmosphere.

The limited edition exhibition of "Shanyue Cultural and Creative" for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Guan Shanyue Art Museum has selected a number of cultural and creative masterpieces from our museum over the years for centralized display and limited distribution, including high-definition copies of Guan Shanyue's "Sixteen Character Order ·  plum", the "Guan Shanyue Works Collection" published in 1997, the commemorative cover for the first anniversary of the opening of the Guan Shanyue Art Museum, the full page stamp for the third anniversary celebration of the Chinese knot, the commemorative cover for the 25th anniversary, and so on.

All the original works of the first day commemorative cover of Guan Shanyue Art Museum were hand-painted by famous artists such as Guan Shanyue's students, who were once the backbone of the Guangdong art community. In the past 25 years, they have adhered to their teacher's aspirations and made outstanding contributions and achievements in artistic creation, criticism, and education, becoming a generation of masters in inheriting and promoting the Lingnan School of Painting. This batch of works covers characters, landscapes, flowers and birds, showcasing the true qualities of a master in every inch. It is also a reflection of Mr. Guan Shanyue's decades of experience in art education, with peach and plum blossoms everywhere and fruitful results. It also carries the sincere blessings and earnest expectations of the artists for our museum!

Style: Three Sixteen Character Writings

In 1997, Moyang Pass Mountain Moon was on the south bank of the Pearl River.

The Sixteen Character Order: Plum Blossom was created in 1997 by Mr. Guan Shanyue as a special creation for the completion and opening of the art museum. The entire work is entirely written in ink, with a sharp and vigorous brushstroke. The plums are freely criss crossing, with a strong iron bone, while the plum blossoms are crystal clear and majestic. The fragrance of the plum blossoms comes from the bitter cold, which is well explained here. At the time of the return of Hong Kong and the opening of the Guan Shanyue Art Museum, Mr. Guan's  joy was fully expressed. Coupled with these three sixteen character poems, they further connected plum blossoms with himself and this era, and the artistic expression was vivid and unrestrained.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Guan Shanyue Art Museum, the museum collaborated with China Post to jointly launch a digital anti-counterfeiting postage machine promotional stamp (printed type). The commemorative cover for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Guan Shanyue Art Museum is designed and produced specifically for the museum's 25th anniversary. The commemorative cover is a medium standard envelope, and the commemorative postmark combines the architectural features of the Guan Shanyue Art Museum with the newly created visual image of the number 25, which is reflected in a continuous loop from beginning to end. Stamps, postage, and identification numbers will be printed and sealed on-site at the art museum.

The theme of the Art Museum's 25th anniversary series of activities is "Co creation, Sharing, and the Beauty of Art". The design of this limited edition commemorative stamp, with a highly decorative ribbon at the beginning and end, reflects the art museum's function of working together to educate the public in art, as well as the museum's intention to nourish the public with artistic nourishment and convey the beauty of art.

Our museum is one of the first national pilot units for cultural and creative development, as well as a pilot unit for the development of cultural and creative products in Guangdong Province. Cultural creativity is a combination of "culture" and "creativity", which is an effective carrier of cultural dissemination. Cultural creativity has become an important driving force for urban cultural development and transformation. The influence of the "Shanyue Cultural and Creative · Artistic Things" brand created by our museum is gradually expanding.
