Since the reform and opening up, economic development has brought prosperity to culture and art. Whether in high-end halls and public service venues, whether it is the wealthy or ordinary people, calligraphy and painting have become an indispensable spiritual food, making people full of smiles and love. In this era, the moving power of art questions our hearts
Six Chinese painters from Hebei, including Li Guiyang, Wang Jiping, Chen Weijian, Guo Mingtang, Huang Zhilin, Li Mingjiu, etc., will hold an art exhibition at the Guanshan Yue Art Museum in Shenzhen at the invitation of the Science, Education, Culture and Health Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress. It is reported that in recent years, they have invited painters from other regions to hold multiple exhibition activities in Shenzhen, with significant investment and good results. This move indicates that the Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress attaches great importance to promoting the traditional culture of our nation, advocating for elegant culture, and promoting the development of a harmonious society and the construction of spiritual civilization. This is not only a long-term cultural strategy, but also a cultural consciousness that benefits the general public and promotes the development of Shenzhen.
The six invited artists have different painting genres and styles, each with their own unique achievements. Li Guiyang's landscape paintings depict the Taihang style, grand and magnificent, crossing time and space boundaries, condensing thousands of landscapes, and displaying the momentum of "qi shaking the sky, meaning opening the earth", making people feel as if they are listening to the tide of the distant and spiritual world. His works have shifted from a focus on landscape design to a focus on artistic conception, which is a significant breakthrough in his artistic views. Therefore, his works are full of profound thoughts and tranquility; Wang Jiping's flower and bird paintings feature ceramic objects interspersed with exotic flowers and plants, with carved windows and flower walls as the background. From a technical and cultural perspective, the construction pattern of flower and bird paintings is greatly advanced. His works are very direct in expression, but without any sense of flaunting, the language is pure, but without any vulgar habits. The realm is profound, but without any unsolvable mysteries; Chen Weijian's character paintings depict a strong and rough image of a miner, with an ordinary spiritual essence that reveals the mystery of harmony between humans and the earth. With new concepts, he grasps the portrayal of the character's spirit and breaks free from the traditional stale atmosphere in his brushstrokes and application. His moving power is refreshing and captivating; Guo Mingtang's landscape paintings are mostly northern landscapes, which are both masculine and magnificent, as well as feminine and lyrical. In terms of expression, they are extremely delicate, exuding a positive atmosphere of heaven and earth. His works embody the infiltration of poetry and profound cultural nourishment, making them quiet and profound, which is why he has such insight and wisdom; Huang Zhilin's figure paintings, portrayed by ancient scholars and talented women and beauties, embrace the pure and elegant embrace of a "pure orchid heart," allowing one's heart to wander freely, and "the poor spirit to change completely." The brushstrokes are filled with thoughts beyond the dust, boldly wielding them, and overflowing with an innocent aura, reflecting the unified relationship between the painter and art that tightly maintains the spiritual essence as one. This is not only a choice of values, but also a driving force of ideas; Li Mingjiu's snowfield schema tells the story of clarity and tranquility in his soul, and his view of time and space in art is a special choice of his own.
The above six painters, with a grateful heart, walked through the crowded world and noise, sincerely showcasing their works to the beautiful city of Shenzhen, and dedicating artistic beauty to all the people in this city!
