 Mr. Guan Shanyue is one of the outstanding representatives of the Lingnan School of Painting. He devoted his whole life to the inheritance and development of Chinese painting, making outstanding contributions to the development of modern Chinese painting and the cause of art education. The works exhibited this time are the exquisite works of Mr. Guan Shanyue in our museum collection, representing the peak of Guan Shanyue's art.

 Mr. Guan Shanyue adheres to the artistic philosophy of "keeping up with the times in his writing" and "carrying forward the past and opening up the future", and has created a large number of works with distinctive contemporary characteristics, leaving arduous footprints on the path of artistic exploration. Among the many techniques that Guan Shi sought to express in Chinese painting, he paid particular attention to the expressive power of thick ink and heavy colors. His brushstrokes were solemn and enthusiastic, innovative in meaning, and full of ink. The unrestrained movement of brushstrokes and the intense and colorful display in his paintings made people feel the author's passionate love for the mountains, rivers, and land of the motherland, and the love for nature. As his painting slogan goes: "Where in the world is this realm, the bottom of the brush changes to the heart." His brushstrokes were written with confidence, creating a myriad of atmosphere, thus presenting his works with a more unrestrained and unrestrained style. Among them, ink and color shine together - as one of the important characteristics of Guan Shi's Chinese painting art, in this exhibition, The work received a concentrated expression.

The more than 20 exquisite pieces of this exhibition are carefully selected from the donated works of Mr. Guan Shanyue. Our museum has launched this exhibition on the 10th anniversary of Mr. Guan's passing, showcasing exquisite collections to entertain audiences who love art. At the same time, we hope that these exquisite pieces can deepen the audience and scholars' understanding of Guan Shanyue's art.
