Liao Jinfeng

Male, born in 1979, from Longmen County, Guangdong Province. I have been engaged in the creation of Longmen farmer paintings since 2004. Inheritor of intangible cultural heritage of Longmen peasant paintings and director of Longmen Peasant Painting Association. Has won numerous awards, including the Gold Award at the 9th Guangdong Folk Crafts Exhibition and the Excellence Award at the "Centennial Glory · Red Heart Towards the Party - National Farmers' Painting Exhibition".

Liu Shaoxia

Female, born in 1984, from Longmen County, Guangdong Province. I have been engaged in the creation of peasant paintings since 2001. The fifth batch of county-level intangible cultural heritage inheritors in Longmen County, and the contracted painter of Longmen County Cultural and Art Service Center. The main awards include: Excellent Award at the 13th Guangdong Folk Crafts Exhibition (Youth Session) and Third Prize in the "Celebrating the Centenary, Revitalizing Painting - Xinghua Duotian National Farmers' Painting Competition".

Activity arrangement

9: Check in from 00-9:30.

9: From 30-10:00, under the guidance and explanation of the teacher, visit the Longmen Farmers' Painting Exhibition to learn about the origin, development, and artistic characteristics of Longmen Farmers' Painting.

10: Copy Longmen farmer paintings under the guidance and demonstration of professional teachers from 00-11:30; Provide farmers with line drawings, and participants can use pigments to color them, in order to learn the color matching and coloring techniques of farmers' paintings and experience the unique charm of farmers' paintings.

Recruitment target

Recruit 15 viewers (aged 6 and above)

(There will be an additional 5 public welfare spots for each event, targeting volunteers from the top 100 universities. The spots will be available on a first come, first served basis. Public welfare recipients will leave a message in the background saying "name+contact number+workplace", and the staff will notify the selected candidates by phone.)
