Deng Biwen was born in Hunan, China in 1982. I am currently teaching Science and Technology Art at
the Bay Area Innovation College of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (Associate Professor, Graduate
Supervisor). In 2008, I obtained a Master's degree from the Overall Art Studio of the Comprehensive
Art Department of the China Academy of Art (now the Cross Media College). In 2016, I was a visiting
scholar at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 2005, I obtained a Bachelor's degree from the
Printmaking Department of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts.
My research focuses on science and technology art, experimental art, and children's science and
technology art education. Currently, my creations focus on artificial intelligence, mechanical interaction,
and light artwith a particular emphasis on topics such as post humanity, cybernetics, cyberpunk, mechanical life,
artificial intelligence life, and genetic engineering.
In the era of artificial intelligence, the integration of technology and art is reshaping our world at an unprecedented speed. This lecture will take you on a panoramic view of technology and art, exploring its flourishing development in four different fields: education system, research institutions, technology enterprises, exhibitions, and art works. It will take you to appreciate the charm of technology and art, explore its future development trends, and how it changes the way we live, think, and perceive the world.
