In the contemporary art world, "new" media art not only promotes cooperation, communication, and healthy competition among artists, but also triggers new understanding and dialogue between collectors and the general public. New media art is centered around technology, integrating cutting-edge technologies such as digital technology, virtual reality, and augmented reality to create unprecedented artistic experiences. However, for collectors and the general public, understanding and appreciating these technology-based art forms has become a new challenge.
Cao Yuxi, a rising new media artist, will delve into this issue in depth in this lecture. He will share his experience in the art market, explain how to apply new media art works in private collections and public spaces, and how to find a balance between artistic creation and commerce, considering the core concept of "growth" in new media art, constantly moving towards new inspiration goals to create forward-looking and innovative art works. Cao Yuxi will also introduce the progress of his latest project, share his observations and reflections on the current creative landscape of new media, showcase his latest explorations and attempts in the field of new media art through his future project planning, and inspire the audience to think about how to better understand and participate in this constantly developing art form.
