The brushstroke of oil painting is characterized by a combination of intensity and subtlety, with profound meanings everywhere. The rhythm of string music, with ups and downs, is intangible yet emotional. On a beautiful autumn night, at the Guanshan Moon Art Museum, feel the essence beyond rhyme and the sound beyond context.
The "Art Museum Night" event is jointly organized by Shenzhen Guanshan Yue Art Museum and Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and organized by Shenzhen Daoshang Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. Through artistic cross-border collision and integration into cultural public welfare activities, it injects new vitality and beauty into modern urban life. Art and public welfare are mutually empowered, and "dual innovation" broadens the boundaries of art, breaks the walls of art museums, brings the public closer to art, and thus discovers, feels, and creates beauty.
On the evening of September 23rd, a gentle breeze came, and all the beauties met unexpectedly. The sound of strings echoed from the Guan Shan Yue Art Museum, and the night event of "Autumn Rhyme - Freehand String Music in the Art Museum" was successfully held here.
Before the start of the event, Wang Xinni, Deputy Director of the Guan Shan Yue Art Museum, and the planning team of the art museum sent flowers with blessing cards to every audience who came to the museum to attend the concert, as well as citizens passing by Hongli Road and Lianhua Mountain Road, bringing a romantic surprise on the night at the art museum.
Wearing bouquets of flowers, the audience walked into the exhibition hall with smiles, and immediately began another surprise - as the opening of the concert, the harp performer of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra brought a surprise solo performance to everyone. The wonderful "Little Fountain" and "Arabic Style Song" make the audience feel relaxed and happy, which can be said to be "exotic sounds". The performer's fingertips jump between the beautiful curved strings, and the clear and elegant sound slowly flows out, like big pearls and small beads falling on a jade plate, with fairy sounds swirling and lingering aftertaste.
After the solo, Wang Xinni, the deputy director of the Guan Shan Yue Art Museum, presided over the night at the museum, and Chen Xiangbo, the director, delivered a welcome speech. As the co organizer of this Art Museum Night charity event, Chen Xiangbo, the director of Guanshan Yue Art Museum, and Shao Bing, the deputy director of Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, took a group photo on stage to jointly build a shared and beneficial public service activity.
During the performance, the heart shaking symphony converged in front of the oil painting of the Great Wall with autumn mountains and red leaves, and the beautiful melody blended into the painting, as if the performer was also a part of the painting, allowing the audience to listen to the stories in the music as if they were there. The string quartet and oil painting engage in a wonderful dialogue in this space, immersing the audience in it.
The fusion of different instruments and rhythms, as well as the rich and colorful oil paintings, together present a unique artistic feast for the audience.
That evening, the audience also enjoyed the "Cultural Heritage Transmission -2023 China Freehand Oil Painting School Annual Exhibition". The exhibition showcases a total of 111 works by artists, covering three generations of important artists: old, middle, and young. It comprehensively presents the latest appearance of freehand oil painting in contemporary contexts and also showcases the rich achievements of the Chinese freehand oil painting school.
After the event, many viewers were still unsatisfied. Being able to experience the charm of blending different rhythms and appreciate paintings with a "freehand spirit", this "art museum night" is undoubtedly a dual feast of visual and auditory senses. At the end of the event, guests took a group photo with the audience as a souvenir.
