Luo Ning was born in October 1958 in Fufeng, Shaanxi. Graduated from Fengxiang Normal University in Shaanxi Province and Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts with a Master's degree in Fine Arts. Formerly served as the editor in chief of Culture and Arts Newspaper and executive vice president of Shaanxi Academy of Traditional Chinese Painting; I am currently the Director, Researcher, and Director of the Academic Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Art Museum, Vice Chairman of the Shaanxi Artists Association, Member of the Shaanxi Provincial Political Consultative Conference, Member of the China Artists Association, Director of the National Art Museum Professional Committee, and Representative of the 7th and 8th National Congress of the China Artists Association.
Luo Ning has long been engaged in the creation of Chinese figure painting and the research of art theory. Her traditional Chinese paintings mainly focus on characters, especially contemporary women, with a straightforward style and outstanding personality. She has been selected for multiple domestic and international exhibitions. He has published various art collections and monographs, including "Selected Works of Chinese Modern and Contemporary Famous Artist Luo Ning", "Case Study of Figures in the 21st Century Painting Industry - Luo Ning", "Collection of Works of Chinese Chang'an Calligrapher and Painter Art Library - Luo Ning", and art collections such as "Passionate Eyes" and "Calm Eyes". I have led a delegation to visit the United States, Japan, Germany, France and other places to hold art exhibitions and academic exchanges. In recent years, he has devoted himself to the study of art museum science, and has planned exhibitions with regional characteristics and international perspectives, such as Plateau, Plateau - Western China Art Exhibition, Dialogue on Terra Cotta Warriors - European Union and Chinese Sculptor Works Nomination Exhibition.
The author of this lecture elaborates on their personal experience and insights into their love and practice of Chinese painting. In the journey from life to art, I interpreted my own works and put forward my own thoughts on the relationship between "painting and life", "painting and work", "painting and society", and other issues.
