  • The "Collected Huazhang - Exhibition of Design Works from the Collection of Shenzhen Guanshanyue Art Museum" entered the campus, bringing an immersive art feast to students of Futian Primary School and Liyuan Primary School (Yuanling Campus) respectively. From art guides to special lectures, this event uses a three-dimensional model of "exhibition+lecture+experience" to bring art education from the art palace to the teaching site, and also showcases the landmark achievements of the 11 year cooperation between Guanshanyue Art Museum and Futian District primary and secondary schools in "museum school interconnection".

    Art Classics Enter Campus, Professional Tour and Design Lectures Illuminate Childhood

    As the first city to be awarded the title of "City of Design" by UNESCO, Shenzhen has nurtured a unique design culture with its open and innovative urban soil. This exhibition selects 30 poster design replicas from the collection of Guan Shanyue Art Museum, covering representative poster design works from different periods from the 20th century to the present.

    Zhang Xinying, the editor in chief of Guanshanyue Art Museum, explained to the young audience the artistic and educational value of the collection's design works, encouraging everyone to tell Chinese stories well through design. The staff of the art museum provide professional guides to the young audience, from the emotional expression of color matching, to the visual logic of composition and layout, to the cultural significance conveyed by the theme, leading students to interpret the stories behind each artwork.

    As an important part of the event, Guan Shanyue Art Museum also invited artist Ren Sisi to give a vivid and exciting art lecture to student representatives from two schools. The speaker, combined with the exhibits, explained the creative concept, cultural story, and artistic value behind the design in a clear and concise manner, and stimulated students' thinking and imagination through interactive Q&A. The atmosphere on site was lively, and students enthusiastically spoke up, showing a strong interest and thirst for knowledge in art. The lecture not only broadened children's artistic cognition, but also planted the seeds of love for art and exploration of innovation in their hearts.

    Building a new ecology of aesthetic education through deep cooperation between museums and schools in the past eleven years of interconnectivity

    For many years, Guan Shanyue Art Museum has collaborated with various primary and secondary schools, integrating the museum's professional resources and school education needs through the "museum school interconnection" cooperation model, and building an open and shared aesthetic education ecosystem, truly achieving the goal of "bringing beauty education to children". This event has made design no longer far away from the classroom, but a vivid learning content that can be perceived, read, and thought about, allowing the beauty of design to permeate the soul.

    It is reported that the "Collection of Treasures - Exhibition of Design Works from the Collection of Shenzhen Guanshanyue Art Museum" is a series of activities jointly organized by Guanshanyue Art Museum and Futian District Academy of Education and Science to showcase the collection of works on campus. Lin Yingping, an art teaching and research staff member of Futian District Academy of Education, introduced at the event that on June 5, 2014, Futian District Academy of Education and Technology and Shenzhen Guanshanyue Art Museum officially signed a "museum school interconnection" cooperation agreement. This is the first "hand in hand" between a district or county-level teaching and research department and a national key art museum in China, creating a new model of regional aesthetic education cooperation. Up to now, a total of 19 schools in Futian District have spontaneously signed a "museum school co construction" agreement with Guan Shanyue Art Museum, carrying out a deep cooperation for 11 years and jointly exploring the dual track model of "classroom+exhibition hall" and "on campus+off campus". In 2025, the Futian District Academy of Education and Science arranged four "Bringing Collection Works to Campus" activities. "If most of the past activities were to guide children into art museums, then this activity focuses on introducing the resources of art museums into schools." Lin Yingping emphasized that the rich artistic resources of art museums are precisely matched with the needs of school art education, breaking down the learning resource barriers between inside and outside the school and providing valuable opportunities for students to appreciate and create art.

    Art takes root and becomes a pivot to leverage the "grand aesthetic education" pattern.

    The person in charge of Futian Primary School believes that Futian Primary School has always adhered to the educational philosophy of "cultivating integrity and promoting excellence, each with its own beauty", and regards art education as an important breakthrough point for feature creation and brand building. With the construction of the "Art Characteristic Corridor" as the starting point, it continuously explores and enhances the connotation of art education, forming a distinctive feature of art education. From introducing creative paper art into characteristic classrooms, to opening the "Rong" art museum that integrates school totems, from day school art venues to expanding cloud based art spaces, Futian Primary School strives to create a diverse range of art activities that are "sunny" and allow every student to participate equally. Every student is the protagonist of the activity and has a platform for display.

    Li Xinfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Liyuan Education Group, introduced that the exhibition of "Collected Huazhang" collection design works on campus is a vivid practice of Liyuan Education Group integrating aesthetic education into the entire teaching process through curriculum integration and activity infiltration. By introducing high-quality exhibitions from art museums, the school has built a three-dimensional aesthetic education network of "classroom+exhibition hall", effectively enhancing students' aesthetic and humanistic literacy, injecting new vitality into cultural inheritance, and vividly interpreting the educational philosophy of "each beauty is its own beauty, beauty is shared".
