Event Content:
The contemporary transformation of traditional ink painting and the creation of modern and contemporary ink art represent a spiritual journey of return. Contemporary ink art bridges our memories of the past and our perceptions of the present through such a spiritual mode of living, enabling us to reclaim the spiritual freedom of contemplation, meditation, and enlightenment that has been lost to digital media and fast-paced culture. These very activities of contemplation, meditation, and enlightenment are precisely the primary modes of artistic creation and appreciation in ink painting. The creative trends in contemporary ink art reveal the coexistence and diversity within the global modern and contemporary art landscape and ecosystem.
