Recently, the "Digital Art Museum Construction Standards" (Standard Code: DB4403/T 476-2024), drafted by the Guan Shanyue Art Museum in Shenzhen as the lead organization, with participation from the Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology, the Shenzhen Contemporary Art and Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, and the Shenzhen Art Museum, has been officially released. These standards will be implemented starting from August 1, 2024.

The "Digital Art Museum Construction Standards" are the first municipal-level standards related to digital art museums in China, comprehensively covering the basic functions of the art museum industry such as collection, exhibition, academic research, and public education. These standards will fill the gap in construction standards for digital art museums and align with the overall planning requirements of Shenzhen's "One Network for Unified Management". The introduction of standardized construction will help accelerate the digital transformation of art museum operations, enhance the effectiveness of Shenzhen government's public cultural services, better promote the art industry, provide services for people's livelihood, and strengthen cultural confidence. These standards received the 2022 Shenzhen Cultural, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports Work Innovation Award.

The formulation and implementation of the "Digital Art Museum Construction Standards" will further enhance the public service capabilities of the entire art museum industry in Shenzhen, accelerate the digital layout of the cultural industry, improve the modern cultural industry system, thereby promoting the high-quality development of culture in our city and driving the synchronized development and overall planning of digital art museum construction nationwide.
