- The classics of Shenzhen Guanshan Yue Art Museum have been collected in Guangzhou National Version Museum
Recently, the Guanshan Yue Art Museum in Shenzhen and the Guangzhou National Publishing House completed the handover of important documents. Our museum has selected 66 precious academic publications to be collected in the Guangzhou National Publishing House. At the donation ceremony, Huang Lei, Deputy Director of Guangzhou National Version Museum, presented a donation certificate to Shenzhen Guanshanyue Art Museum.
Chen Junyu, the director of Shenzhen Guanshanyue Art Museum, stated that the donated books are important achievements of academic research in the 28 years since its establishment. He hopes that through these donations, they can contribute to the construction of the cultural gene bank of Guangzhou National Version Museum. Huang Lei, Deputy Director of Guangzhou National Version Museum, pointed out that the two museums will actively promote deepening cooperation, and the art works collected by Guangzhou National Version Museum can provide support for the museum's exhibition work.
The books donated this time are all high-quality works edited and published by our library since its establishment, mainly covering three categories:
Guan Shanyue's art and 20th century art research literature, including collections of works, research monographs, etc., are important resources for related research;
Our museum's key academic publications cover fields such as local art and contemporary design art in Shenzhen, reflecting the academic positioning and depth of Guan Shanyue Art Museum;
The collection of important academic lectures at Guan Shanyue Art Museum gathers cutting-edge viewpoints from domestic and foreign experts, which is of great academic value.
Among them, the "Complete Works of Guan Shan Yue" jointly published by Haitian Publishing House and Guangxi Fine Arts Publishing House has extremely high artistic value and is regarded by the academic community as an important academic model for studying the evolution of Chinese painting in the 20th century and the development of Lingnan painting school.
These publications, which have witnessed the development of our museum and the construction of Shenzhen's cultural and artistic heritage, will be permanently preserved and continuously researched at the Guangzhou National Publishing House. We look forward to taking this as an opportunity to better utilize these valuable academic resources, while further consolidating the bond between the two museums and jointly opening up broader space for the preservation and revitalization of Lingnan culture.
The Guangzhou National Version Library (also known as Wenqin Pavilion) is a collection of local characteristic version libraries and regional version resources. The museum is committed to building a resource system that reflects the achievements of construction and development since the reform and opening up, especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, as well as distinctive versions such as Lingnan culture, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan culture, and overseas Chinese culture. Since its opening, more than 4 million copies and 40TB of digital versions have been collected in Tibet.
